Board of Directors
Are you a WIAAP member interested in a position on our board of directors?
"Inspiring" is one word that's been used to describe the experience of serving on the WIAAP board of directors. "Influential" is another. This motivated group helps to form the chapter's strategic plan, weighs in on policy and legislation, provides expertise on a variety of topics and stages networking opportunities for colleagues across the state.
WIAAP board of directors are expected to:
Open board positions are announced at the beginning of each year. The current board of directors reviews nominations and approves the slate of candidates to be selected through election by member voter in the spring. Terms are for three (3) years, renewable once, and beginning on July 1st of the year during which the director is elected. Board members having served two terms may run again after one year's absence.
There is one (1) open board position for the Spring 2018 election, serving a first term of 2018-2021. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 30, 2018 by close of business. Results will be announced in April.
To be considered, please submit your CV, a statement of no more than 250 words outlining your interest and vision in becoming a chapter leader, and a high resolution headshot or other photo, to be used during the election process.
