Resiliency Summit

Understanding trauma is changing the way systems provide services for children and families. Building resiliency and increasing protective factors are the answer to mitigating childhood adversity and traumatic experiences. It is important for parent, youth and young adult leaders who partner with child-serving agencies to understand this significant concept.

Attendees will learn to:

  • Define resilience and understand how protective factors mitigate Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
  • Explore and apply tools and strategies to build personal resilience and wellness
  • Identify ways to foster resilience within service systems
