Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will be performing a study to increase social communication behaviors among toddlers (18-48 months of age) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who are notcurrently receiving intensive behavioral services.
The purpose of this study is to explore brief, effective ways parents can start using intervention techniques with their children before they begin receiving intensive services. Techniques will focus on strengthening children’s Social Communication Behaviors using evidence-based strategies adapted from the Early Start Denver Model. Families will be compensated for their time.
Your participation would include: observations of you and your child in the Waisman Center, completion of forms, education and training at the Waisman Center, and short frequent video recording of skills in your home. If you are interested in participating please contact:
