HPV Cancer Survivor Stories
Please take a few moments to watch this emotional video about HPV related cancer survivors. This is a powerful reminder to continue to provide a strong recommendation for the HPV vaccine.

2017-2018 University Flu Vaccination Challenge!!!
Lend your support to the University of Wisconsin (or another alma mater) by participating in the University Flu Vaccination Challenge! The purpose of the Challenge is to increase vaccination rates through a friendly competition among participating colleges and universities. You can report your flu vaccination, and earn points for the University of Wisconsin, by completing a short survey. The information that you report is non-identified. You can learn more about the initiator of the challenge, Alana's Foundation by visiting their website. Go Badgers!
Our dear colleague, Cathy Edwards, has retired from a long and dedicated career in public health, the last 17 years with the Immunization Program as the Southeastern Immunization Regional Advisor. We celebrate the contributions that she brought over the years, but miss her professionalism and thoughtfulness on a daily basis.
While this position is vacant, we ask that you direct questions regarding school immunization requirements, Vaccine For Children (VFC), and vaccine preventable disease surveillance to Jacqueline Sills Ware at 414-227-4876, Jacqueline.SillsWare@wi.gov.
For questions regarding consolidated contracts, please contact Stacey Moyer at 608-266-9316, Stacey.Moyer@wi.gov.
HPV Vaccine Communications Campaign
The Wisconsin Immunization Program will be continuing an HPV vaccine communications campaign that started in May of this year and ran through the end of July. The new campaign will run during the month of October in areas of the state with low vaccine up-take. The messaging will focus on reminding parents to vaccinate both boys and girls at ages 11 and 12 with the HPV vaccine. You may hear a variety of advertisements including on the radio and television.
