"The Pink Book" Immunization Webinar Series from the CDC

This June through September CDC immunization experts will present a weekly webinar series about the principles of vaccination, strategies to increase vaccination rates, and specific diseases and the vaccines that prevent them. Each one-hour webinar explores a chapter from the 13th edition of “Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases,” also known widely as “The Pink Book.”

This Pink Book Webinar Series is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, medical students, as public health staff at state and local immunization programs. Continuing education will be available for each event.  Recording will be archived a week or two after each session.

This online series of 15 webinars provides an overview of the principles of vaccination, general recommendations, immunization strategies for providers, and specific information about vaccine-preventable diseases and the vaccines that prevent them. Each one-hour webinar explores a chapter from the 13th edition of “Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases,” also known widely as “The Pink Book.”

Intended Audience - Immunization providers: Physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, DoD paraprofessionals, medical students, state and local immunization programs, etc.
