Quality Improvment in Pediatrics

In May 2015 WIAAP established a new Committee on Quality Improvement in Pediatrics. The goals of the Committee on Quality Improvement in Pediatrics are to:

  • Improve capacity for pediatric quality improvement projects within Wisconsin
  • Assist in the development and implementation of meaningful pediatric quality measures in Wisconin
  • Liason with the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) and other state healthcare quality orgaization
  • Liason with the Quality Improvement department within the American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Serve as a peer resource for chapter members who are participating in quality improvement projects, including those needed for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) part 4 credit through the American Board of Pediatrics
