PATCH for Providers-Professional Development Workshop

PATCH Dane County is hosting a virtual PATCH for Providers session. PATCH Teen Educators can help you improve adolescent health care experiences and make your practice more youth-friendly.

Join us on March 17th, 2021 from 3:00pm-5:00pm, as they share their wants, needs, and experiences when it comes to health care. This virtual event is open to all health care providers who work with adolescents, as well as other youth serving professionals.

As a result of attending this workshop, learners will:

  • Discuss and value the importance of adolescent concerns, attitudes, and preferences in health care settings.
  • Describe ways to provide high-quality, youth-friendly health care services.
  • Develop confidence and skills to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with teens.
  • Advocate for and effectively communicate about appropriate youth-friendly health care services among the health care team.
