Background
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is excited to announce the Routine Immunization Through Community Engagement (RICE) 5.0 Grant Program. This funding opportunity seeks to empower communities to overcome barriers and promote uptake of routine vaccinations, while reducing health disparities for children and adults.
There is one request for application (RFA) for this funding opportunity, and applicants will be able to select which population they will focus on, either pediatric or adult.
Funding
There will be approximately 15 awards total.
Up to $30,000 will be awarded to community organizations focusing on routine vaccine uptake for children.
Up to $30,000 will be awarded to community organizations focusing on routine vaccine uptake for adults.
Organizations can only submit one application and must choose either pediatric or adult focused work. Please clearly describe planned project activities and milestones for the chosen age group.
Funding source
Funding for this grant program is provided from the Immunization Program Cooperative Agreement funding through the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
