WIAAP and many, many partners and lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have advocated for several sessions to pass this legislation that will extend critical postpartum benefits from only 60 days to the nationwide standard of 12 months. (Only one other state does not provide this level of coverage.) Republicans in the legislature have announced they will at last support and pass the measure.
