The AAP launched a new web page on AAP.org focused on developmental surveillance and screening based on recommendations from the AAP clinical report, “Promoting Optimal Development: Identifying Infants and Young Children with Developmental Disabilities Through Developmental Surveillance and Screening.” The page features the following:

  • Key information about developmental surveillance and screening for pediatric clinicians
  • Developmental surveillance and screening resources, including the Screening Technical Assistance and Resource Center, the Bright Futures National Center, and tools/resources developed in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” program
